Community Guidelines
Effective date: May 2, 2026
Last updated: May 2, 2026
PokeReplicas is a place to share teams, swap ideas, and learn from other Pokémon Champions players. These guidelines keep the community welcoming. They apply to every comment, reply, team submission, and screenshot you post.
What we expect
- Be respectful. Disagree with strategies, not with people. Friendly trash talk is fine; harassment isn't.
- Stay on topic. Comments belong on the team they're attached to. Off-topic posts may be removed.
- Credit your sources. If you're sharing a team that originated from a content creator, link or name the source.
- Casual profanity is fine. The community swears, and we don't filter that. Slurs targeting protected groups are not.
What's not allowed
You agree not to post content that:
- Harasses, threatens, demeans, or discriminates against any person or group.
- Contains slurs, hate speech, or content targeting people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
- Is sexually explicit or contains nudity.
- Promotes self-harm, illegal activity, or cheating (game-account trading, hack distribution, ROM sharing).
- Impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation with anyone.
- Contains personal information about anyone other than yourself (real names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.).
- Spams advertising, phishing, or malicious links.
- Infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
How we enforce
- Anyone can report a comment by tapping its menu button. Repeated abuse of the reporting system is itself a violation.
- Comments with 3 or more reports are automatically hidden pending manual review. We aim to review within 24 hours.
- A soft profanity filter auto-hides comments containing slurs. Casual profanity passes through.
- Rate limits apply to comment posting (5 per minute, 50 per day) to discourage spam.
- You can block another user at any time from the comment menu or from Settings → Privacy → Blocked users. Blocking hides their content from your view and stops their replies from notifying you.
- We may remove content or suspend accounts for serious or repeated violations, with or without notice.
When you post your first comment
You'll be asked to accept these guidelines before your first comment goes live. Your acceptance is recorded so we can show you the current version if it ever changes.
Reporting issues to us directly
For anything that doesn't fit the in-app report flow — copyright takedowns, safety concerns, accessibility issues — email [email protected].
Changes to these guidelines
We may update these guidelines from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by updating the effective date above. Continued use of comments after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
